Firstly, can I just say I was blown away at how quickly these guys had my order in the post. I received it in the mail within 24 hours so their express postage option was worth it! I was originally going to buy something off Amazon as I need a second portafilter for a party in a few days, but I could tell the Amazon products were rubbish so I took a punt on Hypergrind and I am over the moon!
This is beautifully made portafilter, sturdy, made from high quality wood and the filter itself is all class. My first pour was nothing short of perfection. You can see from the photos how much better the handle and filter is compared to the original that came from Breville. Its much larger and a little heavier which I think is a good thing. This fit my Bambino Plus machine really well and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Hypergrind.
The Hypergrind Twin Spout Portafilter is a good quality accessory for my new coffee machine. The service and communication from Hypergrind has been excellent. I have purchased several other accessories from Hypergrind.
The quality is outstanding! Absolutely worth! I just stand from afar and admire it from time to time.
Have been using this spout portafilter for few months. Bottomless portafilter is good because I can observe the extraction. But, for me, the bad thing about bottomless portafilter is that in case of tunneling, the coffee will spread everywhere and it will be quite messy. Normal spout portafilter is usually not depth enough to fit variety of baskets and usually has other plastic components.
This spout portafilter fixes all my concerns. It is depth enough to let me to use different IMS baskets. So it has enough space in between the basket and the exit of the spout. The whole set is made of stainless steel which makes it easy to clean; together with the internal shape, I usually drain it without removing the basket. Of course, I would perform deep cleaning by occasionally by removing the basket.
Overall, it’s correct that I can’t see directly the extraction but it could provide the result of bottomless portafilter with causing the messy environment.

Portafilter and basket are high quality and better looking than original parts. Might be more sensitive to bean freshness but the crema is improved.
We loved ours so much we've now purchased it as gifts twice for our friends and family who also have a Breville Bambino & Bambino Plus. It distributes the pour evenly between the spouts - perfect for a couple of single shot espressos.

Good product but I wish I’d gone with the bottomless option. That’s on me. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because some water gets trapped under the basket after it gets rinsed and I believe this wouldn’t happen with the bottomless.

My new portafilter has totally changed the look of our Breville barista pro. I love it. Very good price and was blown away when it arrived the next business day.
Bought to replace the double spout that came with my Breville machine. Works really well and I can make 2 coffees at the same time.
This fit our bambino plus perfectly. It looks really nice with the rosewood handle. It ensures that the shot volume is split evenly; much better than the stock standad portafilter.
