Puck Screen Ultra (Black)

This is a very nice, clean-looking and very high quality puck screen. I strongly recommend you get a small magnet like the one in this photo to make removing it before emptying the basket super-easy and efficient.

Pulling shots with my new Hypergrind Puck Screen Ultra has taken my espresso to a new level! I loved it so much I ordered one for my son who's also an espresso lover and he uses it on his Gaggia Classic Pro!

I initially found the puck screen a pain to use as my Delonghi basket has a dose ring and the puck screen gets pushed past the ring and becomes difficult to remove.

I've since acquired a straight sided basket and this makes he puck screen much easier to use as it no longer gets stuck and I've found expresso shots are more consistent and less bitter. The change is subtle, but noticeable.

I strongly recommend getting a magnet to remove the puck screen before you knock out coffee grounds, otherwise you'll have to fish the screen out from the bottom. of your knock box. You can get special.tools for this, but any neodynium magnet you can conveniently hold. will do the trick.

Should have bought one sooner. We’ve been troubleshooting our coffee and the puck screen has fixed the pressure issue we were having. It also helps to keep our machine cleaner. Happy with our purchase!

Without it I get coffee squirting out from odd places at the bottom of my portafilter. The Puck Screen Ultra from Hypergrind provided an easy fix. And as a tip, I use a little magnetic chess pawn to make it easier to remove from the basket after it has done the good work of making my coffee.

Works well and as advertised.

Fantastic slimline puck makes a huge difference when combined with a hypergrind bottomless portafilter for very consistent shots.customer service is great and will definitely shop again as quality products.

This is a great addition to your barista kit!! It works perfectly as you wouod expect from the Hypergrind guys. Interestingly your group also is clean at the base no coffee grinds i guess that due to the even water dispersion.
